This Agario guide will take you step by step through the process of starting at the bottom and ending up on top of the leaderboard.

#Early Stages The early stages of Agario is chaotic. As a small blob, vision is limited. This makes it extremely easy to wonder into larger players. The high speed of the smallest blobs makes it even harder not wonder into other players. The trick to getting through this stage is to be efficient in collecting passive dots and to stay on the look out for smaller players. Be careful not to wonder backwards because your small size will attract larger players who can easily follow you hoping that you will turn around and crash into them. Finally, be careful of viruses because larger players can hide under them to trick you.

Advanced Tip: split as soon as you can especially if you see a small player to eat. This will increase your vision dramatically and increase your total area and speed. This move will attract more players chasing you, but the risk can be worth it.

#Beyond the early stages Once you’re large enough to start eating other smaller dots, it becomes safe to split. But, try not to split twice and be extra cautious while divided. At this stage, use the virus to protect yourself. Mid-sized blobs further along in the stages of this guide to Agario, won’t be able to split easily around virus. However, hiding amoung the viruses is a popular tactic. So you might find the virus cloud popular with hunters. This is one of the hardest stages of the game. Keep your finger hovering over the split action and be ready grow fast.

#Midstage hunting If you’ve survived this long, you’ll quickly find that you’re larger than everyone around you. Your new problem is that you’re now so slow, that even this Agario guide can’t help you catch other players. Focus on splitting to capture smaller players. Do your best to judge players just smaller than half your size. And, be on the look out for large players split too many times.

This is the first time where you can really own the virus fields. You’re still too fast to be an easy target for viruses. So, you can use them to trap other players. Fianally, consider moving towards the corner or edge where you can use edges and corners to trap players. But, be on the look out for players in the final stages of Agario. They will split often more than once at the first site of a tasty snack.

Advanced Tip: If you run into another player of your own size, don’t get too close. Instead, use them as a pincer to trap smaller, faster players between you.

#Leaderboard Congradulations! You’ve hit the leaderboard. Now what? Open it! The leaderboard will tell you who you can eat and who can eat you. If you see someone roughly small enough to eat, check the leaderboard, they need to be 2-3 slots below you to be eaten. At this stage, you feel very powerful. But super, super slow. The only way to eat other players now is to split. So, split, split, split. But, be very careful of larger players. At rank 8 or 9, you’re in a very weak spot. If a larger player sees you, they will follow you across the map for a chance to double in size. So, virus are your only protection. Keep tabs on virus that you can just barely squeeze through. But, be careful because virus at this stage become truely dangerous.

Advanced Tip: You can create a virus wall to protect yourself from top players. Just split viruses in a line to block off an area for yourself. This works best in the corners. But, be careful to give yourself enough room to grow.

#Number 1 The virus is now your number 1 enemy. Stay far away! Usually, you get to this stage by coming across the #1 blob as it has been split by a virus, or perhaps the player has split too many times being greedy. The #1 blob is constantly decreasing in size, so it must eat constantly just to stay the same size. Now that you’ve absorbed the largest player, this is your problem now. You can now split easily and gobble up large groups of players. But, you need to be constantly aware of where the other top players are. If you are split, they can eat you, and they will fire viruses at you. The only way to stay on top is to constantly absorb players through splitting. So, split away. But, be warned, there’s always someone just behind you looking to be the biggest.

Advanced tip: If you’ve been hit by a virus, you can still absorb the player attacking you by splitting! Also, when you’ve split into enough pieces, you can safely use your smaller pieces to remove virus from the board. Running them down will clear out space for yourself without causing you to split more.

Agario comes with many great skins built right into the game that are free to use. Some of the most popular skins include: Earth, Mars, Nasa, and even memes like Doge! For a full list of skins, check the Agario Skin List.

#How to use an Agario Skin To use an Agario skin, just change your name to the skin you want to use. That’s it. That means you cannot use a skin with a name of your own choosing. However, in the app version of Agario, there are many skins available for purchase using both real money and in game coins that you can earn by playing.

#Custom Skins A lot of people want a custom skin. Now with the mobile app, you can earn the ability to use one!. It’s one of the hardest achievements, but it’s totally worth it.

So, if you love Agario skins, get the mobile app and get playing. You’ll eventually unlock some great skins. However, if you’ve read my Agario Tips, you’ll know not to use the spider or hornet skins earned by new players because they give away your lack of experience. However, if you’re a real professional gamer, you might choose the spider skin to throw off other players!

This guide will teach you advanced Agario strategy to improve your game. You should read the beginner how to, and the full Agario Guide because this guide only covers advanced tactics and strategies.

Team Up

Some would consider this advanced strategy to be an Agario Cheat, but playing a team well is a real challenge. You have a big advantage in a team because you can see farther, split without fear, and hold more mass between two players than one player can hold alone. But, teams can still be beaten. For anti-team tactics, check out these amazing Jumbo team busting videos.

Build a Wall

During the early game, you can die without much loss. So, use your freedom to split. This expands your vision greatly. Keep your two blobs far apart and scout the map a bit. Look for the edges and corners. Once you find a corner or edge, follow along it and find some virus… Ideally, you want the virus far enough from the wall that you can fit between the virus and the wall, but the top players won’t be able to do the same.

Next, focus on growing. As you grow, use your mass to expand the viruses virtically up and down the wall in a line. Don’t worry about dying. If you die, just go right back to your wall and keep working on it. Make sure to keep enough space behind your wall for you to become large. Once your wall is strong, grow, grow, grow. Your wall will protect you from top players and allow you to get to the leaderboard. Once you’re in the top 10, punch a hole in the wall and sneak out. Carefully scout your surroundings looking for other large blobs. If one chases you, run back behind your wall. Then, use your wall as a weapon to shoot viruses!

Capture a Corner

Corners are ideal for capturing smaller players. Even though they are much faster, you can corner them easily. You can use viruses to protect the corner much more easily. Just make sure you don’t trap yourself in the corner. One key strategy for corner play is to leave enough space between yourself and the corner that smaller players mistakenly enter the corner trap only to be absorbed.

Practice Shooting Viruses

Even a mid sized blob can do serious damage to top players using viruses. Get used to firing viruses at other players so when you do become a big player, you’re ready for the final stages of the game.

Absorb Viruses

That’s right, when you are large enough, you can absorb viruses without taking any damage. The trick is to split a few times. Once you have a small blob or two, run the smallest blobs into a virus. It will split into many tiny bubbles and then you won’t be able to split anymore which means you can now freely eat viruses without being split!

Have you read my beginners guide in how to play Agario? Go ahead, read it. I’ll wait. There are several Agario tips that will help you climb the leaderboard. The best tip is to don’t be afraid to die. You aren’t trying to win yet. You’re just trying to learn the ropes. So, play a lot of games quickly. To that end, split often. If you get lucky, you grow. Practice splitting as often as you can. In fact, Jumbo, one of the best Agario players splits into 4 blobs as early as he can. Beyond practicing, there are a few quick tips that will really help your game.

Agario Tips

When you’re super small, keep moving, but don’t bounce around. Pick your course, and stay in a steady direction, but still make changes. Big players can see farther than you and they will follow you hoping that you will turn around. Stay the course.
If you are smaller, be careful chasing a group of blobs. Split up blobs are attractive bait. Don’t get caught up in the crossfire. On the otherhand, if you’re growing and bigger than most your neighbors, split as soon as you see a group of blobs.
Try to get an understanding of where you are on the board because orners can be dangerous for small blobs and you need to know where bigger players are so you can avoid them as you grow.
When you’re a bit bigger, the virus blobs are your friend. Bigger blobs can’t eat you when you hide behind virus. Another great tip for Agario is to find a super blob and coast around eating the dots the big blob misses. Super blobs won’t care for such a small snack, but they will keep the bigger aggressive blobs safely away. Just be careful not to
grow too large near a massive agario player, otherwise, you’ll be lunch!
When you get a bit bigger, use the virus to make a wall. Create a safe space for yourself that big agario players can’t get to.
A great tip for Agar.io once you start growing is to keep an eye on the leader board. It will tell you if you’re larger than blobs near your own size.
When playing Agario teams, stick near large blobs of your own color. But, if they get in trouble, run!
In the Agario mobile app, avoid using the achievement skins used by newbies. It will give away your lack of experience.

Agario Tricks

If you’re having trouble, one trick is to avoid the new player skins. They let other players know that you’re new.
Finally, if you’re really struggling, consider playing with a friend. The two of you can feed each other when you split.

Perfect Agario Tip

If you’re the same size as the virus, shoot 2-4 small blobs into the virus to grow it. Then eat a few more dots until you’re the same size as the virus again. Now, line yourself up under the virus and wait. You won’t be seen and eventually, someone just smaller than you will try to duck through the virus and you’ll nearly double in size.

Agario is a fun, but brutal game. The game can be stressful for young children, but it’s very fun for those who can handle losing often and trying again. The concept of the game is simple. Eat or be eaten. Suck up as many dots as you can before someone bigger comes along and takes you out. I hope to teach you the basics of how to play Agario with this game guide.

#Rules 1. When two players touch, the larger player eats the smaller one. 2. Smaller blobs are faster than larger blobs. 3. A player can split increasing it’s speed, and launching an attack with the second blob. 4. A split player is more vulnerable. 5. Larger players split into smaller pieces when they touch a green virus. 6. A player can fire small pieces into a virus using them as weapons against other players.

#Advice for Beginners Playing Agario Don’t worry about dying. You will die a lot in Agar.io. Just roll with it and restart. Play fast. Take risks. Lose a lot. After you’ve played for a few days. Take a break from Agario and do something else! The break will do you go. During your break consider watching some top notch Jumbo Videos.

#Agario Tips * If you’re having trouble surviving, stay near the viruses, but be careful not to run into them. * If you manage to grow bigger, Try to find a wall of viruses to hide behind. * Try splitting more often!

#How to Win Agario You can’t win Agario! Once you become the largest player, your blob starts slowly shrinking. Even if you eat the second largest blob over and over, you still can’t grow any more. Eventually, you’ll be hit with a virus, or caught while split. Even the best players can’t stay on top for ever.

Agario Cheats and Hacks

Many players have a hard time in Agario because the game is extremely competitive and even great tips don’t have some folks. So, they search for Agario cheats or Agario hacks. Fortunately, for most of us, and unfortunately for these would be cheaters, there are no cheats for Agario. So, if you’re looking for one, you’re out of luck. Unfortunately, there are several pages pretending to offer hacks of Agario. But, all of these pages about Agar.io are fake! They simply send the poor folks to surveys or serve them endless popups until the players realize they aren’t going to find any cheats for the game.

Agario Cheats

If you’re disappointed that you aren’t cheating at Agar.io yet, and needing a way to get ahead that isn’t fair, then I have 1 Agario cheat for you:

Play with your friend on the same server. Simply meet in an agreed on corner. Once there, team up! When you split, have your friend eat your blobs afterwards. When your friend splits, gobble up his blobs. Trade back and forth and take over the top 2 spots. If you want to take this cheat to the next level, get 2 or 3 or even 4 players together on the same server.
